Mai Tai

The Mai Tai is a classic rum cocktail that will never go out of style. Nothing says spring break quite like rum and pineapple.

Ingredients:
1 dash Pernod
1 cup cracked ice
1 ½ ounces dark rum (Meyer’s Plantation is a good option)
½ ounce orange curacao
Ice cubes
¾ ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce white rum
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Pineapple wedge, cherry, and mint sprig for garnish

Directions:
Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add the dark (1 ounce) and white rum, lime juice, curacao, bitters, and Pernod; shake well. Strain into rocks glass filled with cracked ice. Float the remaining dark rum on top. Garnish with the pineapple, cherry, and mint sprig.

Margarita

We couldn’t imagine a spring break cocktail list without the margarita. We might be a little biased to the delicious cocktail, but can you blame us? Nothing says a good time like a Savage Scorpion Margarita.

Ingredients:
Ice
1 ½ ounces Blanco tequila
1 ounce Cointreau or another triple sec
¾ ounce fresh lime juice

Directions:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila, Cointreau, and fresh lime juice. Shake well. Strain the drink into a chilled coupe.

Daiquiri

These drinks are usually made frozen with sour mix and rum. This recipe takes the traditional daiquiri up a notch. We are sure you’ll enjoy it.

Ingredients:
Ice
2 ounces white rum
¾ ounce fresh lime juice
¾ ounce simple syrup

Directions:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the rum, lime juice, and simple syrup. Shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe.

Mojito

The mojito is a staple in tropical places, so why not spice up your spring break with this delicious and refreshing cocktail?

Ingredients:
Ice
2 ounces white rum
¾ ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
½ ounce chilled club soda
8 mint leaves, plus 1 mint sprig for garnish

Directions:
Muddle the mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. Add the ice and rum, lime juice and simple syrup and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass, stir in the club soda and garnish with the mint sprig.
