Savage Scorpion Spring Cocktail Inspiration

We are officially 32 days away from spring. As the winter weather starts to fade, we can’t help but think about the warm weather, longer days, and spring cocktails. Spring Cocktails

Spring is the perfect time for lighter cocktails with fresh ingredients. Check out these great recipes from The Spruce. 

Tamarind & Tequila

Ingredients:
1 ½ ounces blanco tequila
1 ½ ounces tamarind nectar
½ ounce simple syrup
Ginger ale
Directions:
Pour the tequila, nectar, and syrup into a highball glass filled with ice.
Stir the mixture really well.
Top with ginger ale.

Rosemary Lemonade

Ingredients:
1 ½ ounces tequila
1 ounce lemon juice
½ ounce agave nectar
2 ounces club soda
Directions:
Pour the tequila, lemon juice, and nectar into a Collins glass that is filled with ice cubes.
Stir the mixture thoroughly.
Top with club soda and garnish with a citrus wedge.

Mint Julep

Ingredients:
Leaves from 4-5 mint sprigs
2 sugar cubes or ½ ounce simple syrup
2 ½ ounces bourbon whiskey
Directions:
Place the mint and simple syrup or sugar into a julep cup, Collins glass, or double old-fashioned glass.
Muddle well to dissolve the sugar and to release the oil and aroma of the mint.
Add the bourbon.
Fill with crushed ice and stir well until the glass becomes frosty.
Garnish with the mint sprig.
