Kick Off The New Year With These Savage Scorpion Cocktail Pairings
It’s the start of a new year, and if you’re wanting to increase revenue in your bar or restaurant, Savage Scorpions might be what you’re needing to do just that. Margarita
One of the most popular cocktails in North America – we know why!
Ingredients:
2 ounces tequila
1-ounce lime juice
1-ounce triple sec
Salt – optional
How To:
Add tequila, lime juice, and triple sec to a shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge and a Savage Scorpion.
Bloody Mary
This one is for you if you’re looking for a nutritional breakfast and hangover cure all in one.
Ingredients:
2 ounces Vodka of your choosing
4 ounces tomato juice
2 dashes Tabasco Sauce
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
1 pinch of celery salt
1 pinch of pepper
1 lemon wedge
1 lime wedge
How To:
Coat the lip of a pint glass with the celery salt, fill with ice, and then set aside. Squeeze the lemon and lime wedges into a shaker and then drop the wedges in. Then add the remaining ingredients and fill with ice. Shake gently and strain into the pint glass that is already filled with ice. Get as creative as you want with the garnish, just don’t forget the Savage Scorpion.
Cosmo
A simple cocktail with lots of history.
Ingredients:
1 ½ ounce Citrus vodka
1 ounce Cointreau
½ ounce fresh lime juice
Dash of cranberry juice
How To:
Add all of the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish this beautiful drink with a lime or lemon wedge and a Savage Scorpion.
Snap, Crackle, Drop Shot
The tequila shot that got a makeover.
Ingredients:
1 ½ ounces Don Julio Reposado Tequila
7 dashes of Angostura bitters
4 twists of freshly ground black pepper
1 lime wedge
How To:
Pour the tequila into a shot glass. Stir together the bitters and pepper on a saucer until they form a paste. Coat one side of the lime wedge with the mixture. Take a bite of the lime and then take the shot. Don’t forget about the Savage Scorpion!
