Easter weekend is upon us. If you'll be serving a special holiday meal on Sunday, you'll want some delicious drink recipes to incorporate into the menu.
Savage Scorpions found a few creative Easter-themed cocktail ideas for you to try out. Use the following recipes to add some colorful flavor to the table and if you add our unique drink ingredient to the list of ingredients, well, your celebration will be elevated to a whole new "savage" level!
Carrot Mimosas
from KitchenTreaty.com
The word "mimosa" grabbed our attention immediately because that's a perfect cocktail to serve at a brunch. Then we saw the photo and simply could not resist sharing this perfectly Easter-themed drink! Bunnies love carrots, so we have to assume this is a snack choice of the Easter bunny. What's good enough for the Easter bunny is good enough for us... with a bit of a boozy kick, of course!
This drink really does contain carrot juice plus your choice of Prosecco, champagne, or sparkling wine. Add some parsley sprigs for the carrot top and you're all set. (The recipe gives you a clever tip for keeping those in place.)

Easter Champagne
from Delish.com
This cocktail recipe is more like the sweeter mimosas you are probably used to. For a tasty twist, it adds pineapple juice to the orange juice and champagne. A garnish of strawberries and pineapples adds even more fruity flavor and the special sugar around the rim of the glass tops it off perfectly.

Dogwood Punch
from CountryLiving.com
Punches are always a great idea if you'd prefer to mix up one big batch to serve everyone rather than mixing individual drinks. This delicious concoction is named after the gorgeous flowering dogwood tree which blooms in the spring. It combines the fantastic flavors of fresh fruit and citrus with lemonade and a nice sparkling rosé.

Cucumber Raspberry Refresher
from TownAndCountryMag.com
This cocktail moves us away from the champagnes and wines used in the recipes above and brings gin to the table. Add to that the fresh spring flavors of raspberry, mint, and cucumber and you have a truly refreshing drink that is perfect for a spring afternoon.

Peeps Cocktail
from PeepsBrand.com
One more photo we could not resist checking out when we came across it online was this adorable Peeps Cocktail. The recipe sounds like a tasty one but, much like the marshmallow candy, a bit sweet. You might want to save this drink as a dessert treat after the meal. Some cherry vodka, triple sec, a bit of half and half and grenadine, and you're on your way. The colored sugar on the rim offers a wonderful perch for your Peep of choice.
